CLINICAL TRIAL MATCHING
Finding potential treatment options among the thousands of clinical trials with complicated eligibility criteria can be difficult. Our Clinical Trial Matching allows clinicians to match patients to potential treatments and clinical trials based on the combination of variant interpretations and disease information. We make it easy for you to sift through clinical trials based on our flexible, automatic pre-filtering capabilities and our real-time, configurable screening tools.
We curate and pre-filter trials easily and quickly so you don't have to.
WHAT WE ENABLE YOU TO DO
Our solution uses variant combinations that are designated “significant” to return biomarker-based clinical trials and trials that are relevant to your institution.
The My Cancer Genome team at Vanderbilt University has curated every biomarker-driven cancer trial as logical Booleans about variants and diseases. You have access to these curated trials as part of your license.
We enable you to review each "matched" trial with info about eligibility criteria, matched variants + diseases, phases, and recruiting statuses to verify whether or not to recommend a trial.
Clinical trials can be categorized by location so you can prioritize your institutional trials in your result set. You can also filter the trial results set by matched variants, diseases, phase, zip codes, and miles from a zip code.
Our trial matching allows you to view trials that match to a patient due to the absence of a particular alteration or a set of alterations that were tested for, known as wild-type match.
You can also view partially matched clinical trials that the patient would be eligible for if a particular variant or a set of variants were tested through panels and assays.
OUR TRIAL MATCHING IN USE
GenomOncology's informatics-based clinical trial matching APIs are being used by IU to help clinical research teams discover and evaluate potential clinical trials for triple negative breast cancer, multiple myeloma, and pediatric sarcomas.
GenomOncology processes reference laboratory reports into structured data through our complex parsers, providing therapy recommendations, prognoses, and trials to clinicians at the Nashville VA through our trial matching APIs.
VANDERBILT-INGRAM CANCER CENTER
Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center uses our Molecular Tumor Board Service and our clinical trial matching APIs as part of its Clinical Molecular Oncology Consult Service to find potential trials for patients referred to their service.
